Aurora Picture Show (800 Aurora Street, Houston, TX 77009) is raffling off two film badges to the premiere film festival of the South, SXSW, taking place March 7 - March 16th, 2008 in Austin, TX. One prize will be drawn Monday, December 17. The raffle tickets are $5 each when purchased in person at the Aurora office or theater and $6.50 online to include the internet processing fee. There are tons of places offering “free” iPods, PS3s, iPhones, XBoxes, etc. I did some research on the sites that offer these and started aggregating some information on the whole process. I even started a site with tips on how to get your free iPod Touch. It turns out that the sites that offer these are really legitimate businesses and you really can get free stuff, but it certainly requires some legwork. For more information, please check the site. It applies not only to free iPods, but to any of the free stuff online offers out there. I think it’s a pretty great resource.
