Experimental Short

   

Synopsis:
Endless is a meditation upon the inevitable deterioration of certain traditional values that have been established (or destroyed) throughout civilization. This elegiac account uses symbolic representation from the national elements in order to convey the inevitability of social and cultural reminiscent of erosion, places a layer of texture affront the elliptical glimpses of imagery, separating the viewer from the past. The reoccurring image of flamesremains untouched by the erosion qualities of reticulation ultimately alluding to nature's powerful quality.

Director's Bio:
Wenhua Shi, trained as a doctor in China, but departed from the medical field and began working in radio and TV in his hometown of Wuhan. In 2000, he started exploring film as a medium at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
