Narrative Short

   

Synopsis:
In a surreal calm during the eye of a hurricane, twelve year old Shauna and Grub, her six year old delinquent brother, set out on a mission through their devastated neighborhood to get to the store and back before the storm returns.

Director's Bio:
Currently enrolled in Columbia University's graduate film program, Jeff Smith traces his interest in film to a lack of good TV reception in rural Wisconsin and a 2nd hand VCR provided by his mom. In addition to developing short films, he is currently writing a feature screenplay which he hopes to direct in the near future.
