Synopsis:
loudQUIETloud: a film about the Pixies is an intimate portrait of the difficult, tense and ultimately triumphant return of one of rock music's most influential bands. Director's Bio:
Steven Cantor is a founding partner in Stick Figure Productions. He received a 1994 Academy Award nomination for Blood Ties; The Life and Work of Sally Mann, and a 2003 Emmy nomination for DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND. He also received an Emmy for his film WILLIE NELSON: Still Is STILL MOVING. Steven recently executive produced and directed the HBO series Family Bonds. He also directed What Remains . Matthew Galkin directed (with James Murphy) the music video for LCD Soundsystem's ÒDisco InfiltratorÓ. Previously, Galkin produced the HBO documentary series Family Bonds. He is currently directing a feature-length documentary film about People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). |
