Synopsis:
In November 2004, television, radio, and print media covered the U.S.-led attack on Fallujah. So did one video game. Its name is Kuma War and its vision is all about convergence. Playing the News poses the question: Can video games do journalism? This is a story about the future of news and how video games might play a role in connecting young people to current events. But it's also a story about blurring news and entertainment and how technology numbs us to the horrors of war. Director's Bio:
