Narrative Short

   

Synopsis:
A young single mother is at breaking point over her son's obsession with an old monster doll. He believes the monster is real and battles its presence in every corner of the house. The mother feels something is seriously wrong with her child and struggles in vain to control him. Until one night she spies something deep in the corner of the closet. What lies hidden in the darkness jolts her out of a deep sleep. She knows she must face up to what's happening around her or risk losing her mind completely.

Director's Bio:
Since graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Australia's premier acting school, Jennifer has worked extensively as an actor in theater, film and TV in Australia and has directed numerous productions for the stage.Monster is Jennifer's first short film and has screened at several film festivals.
