Narrative Short

   

Synopsis:
Two women find out they're not so different after all when they discover they are both in love with the same man. As they confront each other they reflect on the decisions they are about to make... all in the front seat of a car.

Director's Bio:
Fanny Veliz, a native of Venezuela, relocated to the United States in her teens and attended the University of Colorado, where she graduated with a B.A. in acting and directing. Although most of her work has been in front of the camera, she has directed several plays and "Shortstop" marks her third venture as a film director.Risa Machuca, who apprenticed with Chris Robinson, is a fast rising music video director whose projects include videos for artists Angie Martinez feat. Kelis, Michael Bolton, Brenda Russell, Lumidee, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Alicia Keys and Jay Z feat. Beyonce.
