Synopsis:
Elvis Valderez has just been honorably discharged from the US Navy. With his duffle bag and rifle, he travels back to his hometown, where he intends to seek out his father Ð a man he has only heard about from his Mexican mother, who has since passed away.

The King is James Marsh's first dramatic feature film. He has a well-established career as a documentary filmmaker, and his work has won all the major British awards for excellence in the documentary field along with several international prizes.
