Synopsis:
This powerful documentary on the life of slain Mexican human rights lawyer Digna Ochoa looks into the circumstances surrounding her death in 1991. Filmed by prolific Mexican director Felipe Cazals, this documentary features reenactment sequences starring actress Vanessa Bauche (Amores perros, A Silent Love).

Felipe Cazals, one of the most important filmmakers of the New Wave of Mexican cinema that evolved in the bitterness and angst of the late 1960s, allows his audience to reflect upon the social history he brings to the screen. His films address profound and often disturbing issues from Mexico's history that reflect upon the nation's tortured identity.
