SXSW 'Burger Hut' Trailers on YouTube

One of the most talked about works at SXSW Film 2002 were the Burger Hut trailers by director Dan Brown (American Detective), actor/writer Kent Osborne (Spongebob Squarepants), and filmmaker/puppeteer Mike Mitchell (Sky High) which opened each screening. Their variety (no pun intended) and humor helped them stay fresh and tasty longer than most bumpers. Now they can be found on YouTube. Check them out and see if there are any you missed!

The Future of Darknets: Can Hollywood See the Light?

Darknet pioneers and representatives from the movie and music industries square off over the new realities of digital distribution over private spaces online. Panelists in this segment include Kori Bernards (MPAA), Heather Champ (Flickr), Ian Clarke (Freenet), Mark Ishikawa (BayTSP), JD Lasica (Darknet), and Dave Toole (Outhink).

SXSW: Behind the Badge - presented by IFC

Since SXSW is really three industry conferences that happen over 9 days, it's cool (and informative) that IFC presents their story about the event(s), SXSW: Behind the Badge from the perspective of a SXSW Interactive panelist, filmmakers with their work screening at the Film Festival, and a SXSW Music Festival showcasing band, allowing viewers a fuller perspective of the scope of the events.
