WFMU Showcase Friday March 19th

pierced.jpgJersey City's WFMU has built a strong reputation as the longest running free-form radio station in the United States and has often been called, "the best station in the country." So it comes as no surprise that these free-thinking music lovers would put together a lively showcase dead-set on throwing you around and shaking your brain with a heavy dose of "heavy, damaged, darkly, punk, weird, noisy, poppy, trippy sounds." Muse to Play SXSW

musebig.jpgMuse will play at Stubb's on Friday, Mar 19 at 10pm. Doors are at 7:30pm. There will be no tickets sold for this show. Music and Platinum Badgeholders, be sure to pick up a SXXpress Pass on Friday morning on the North side of the Austin Convention Center's 4th floor to receive priority entry over the SXSW badge line.

The LP Questionnaire/Pick Three - Andrew W.K.

I am super excited that Andrew W.K. did an LPQ/Pick Three and I don't even like to party hard. I do think he's pretty adorable, though, and kind of radiates the sweet.

Andrew was born in Stanford, California and moved to the Los Angeles area when he was two . He grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, though, and has lived in New York since he was 18.

Nesmith's project, VideoRanch 3D, allows acts to perform for a global audience in VideoRanch's virtual venues and allows the audience to interact with each other and the performers.
