Stefan Pruett and John O’Keefe are Peachcake, a couple of teen-age vigilantes who use their mutant-based powers and ultra-sonic Indie-Electronic driven sound to protect children and teen-agers from criminals and audio-terrorism. Though their quest to eliminate crime has taken them to many states, their main efforts are concentrated in Phoenix’s Art District neighborhood.

Peachcake has done battle alongside Ambulance LTD, Autolux, Beck, Explosions in the Sky, The Go! Team, IMA Robot, Interpol, Junior Senior, Koufax, Limbeck, Louis XIV, Minus the Bear, Mouse on Mars, Of Montreal, Pennywise, Ratatat, Rise Against, Rx Bandits, Social Distortion, Waking Ashland, ZZ Top and many more. They have also fought in multiple tour dates at the sides of Hellogoodbye, Polysics, and Steel Train. Then in 2005 Peachcake participated in a couple of the greatest battles of all time, the Vans Warped Tour and Edgefest!

In 2004 the duo scored a New Times October cover story as result of their efforts and skills. They were also the featured on Jones Soda Co. bottles nation wide in 2005 and were finalists in a Fanta contest that spanned the globe! That same year the New Times and Arizona Infusion of Music (AIM) awarded this dynamic duo for their endeavors! From there the terrific twosome has since been sponsored by Jones Soda Co. and licensed by MTV and other companies throughout the world!

In spite of the high risks taken, they are happy to have sacrificed any hopes for a normal life in order to rid the world of crime…Peachcake will never rest until kids everywhere are safe!
