Jud newcomb (known to many as scrappy), has spent most of the last seventeen years playing guitar with a wide arrray of performers and songwriters including Beaver Nelson, Ian Mclagan, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Matt The Electrician, Seela, Adam Carroll, Bob Schneider and Steve Poltz among many others. He is also a member of The Resentments, a group of sidemen/songwriters/bon vivants/mystics including Stephen Bruton, Jon Dee Graham, Bruce Hughes and John Chipman. He recently
released his second album, "Byzantine" on urium/freedom records. He loves rock and roll and he loves his guitar.
