Captain are made up of Rik Flynn (singer/guitar/frontman), Mario Athanasiou (guitar), Reuben Humphries (drums), Clare Szembek (vocals/keys/percussion) and Alex Yeo (bass).

The band came together from a bizarre variety of backgrounds, personally and musically. They resemble a living ‘Breakfast Club’, a ragbag of very different personalities with conflicting musical tastes but a determination and inner belief that collectively they can make magic. They share a vision constructed from a love of Billy Corgan, Bacharach, Bjork, the Arcade Fire, Bob Mould, Steely Dan, 1930s movies and supreme entertainers from Sinatra to Wayne Coyne. Mix in a touch of British attitude and you get somewhere near the Captain sound.
