Monte Warden won his first Austin Music Award for Best New Band at the age of 15 when he performed with Whoa Trigger! After that, young Warden played with the Wagoneers, where they landed a major-label deal with A&M at the 1st SxSW. Warden co-wrote George Strait's smash, "Desperately” in which he will be awarded the prestigious BMI 'Million-Air' Award in 2006 for over 1 million radio performances of the song.
