Songwriter/rocker/author Chapman has been around. She first rocked Austin in 1977 at fabled Soap Creek Saloon. This is her first SXSW appearance. She is here to promote her new CD - Mellowicious!. For the past two years, Chapman has been touring in support of her bestselling book, GOODBYE, LITTLE ROCK AND ROLLER (St. Martin's Press), developing a one-woman show called "The Triumph of Rock and Roll 0ver Good Breeding."
