Critically acclaimed hip-hop visionary, k-os is at the forefront of the generation of rap artists who are pushing the limits of hip-hop culture (i.e. Andre 3000 of Outkast, Missy Elliot). On his most recent release Joyful Rebellion, not only does the Canadian (via Trinidad) take hip-hop back to its essence, but he mixes in an array of different elements and styles including his own innovative hybrid of reggae, jazz and rock- which ultimately makes for great hip-hop.
