Pony Up was formed on New Year’s Eve 2002.
Their first release, a self-titled ep on Dim Mak Records showcased an almost disconcertingly heartfelt and vulnerable lyricism, drawing a love it or hate it response from the indie rock world.
In fall of 2005 Pony Up returned to the studio to record a full length album. Made up of slightly darker tones and slower beats, the girls never lost their pop sensibility or confessional lyricism. Sung by either literal-minded classic pop fan Laura, or more evocative Sarah, lover of the less than conventional, the songs represent everything the girls have learned and been through together in the last 2 years.

"Make Love to the Judges With Your Eyes" is set to release in spring of 2006, on Dim Mak Records.
