The Sweethearts

The Sweethearts are a female fronted, four piece pop/punk band from Austin, TX. They play catchy punk rock songs influenced by The Ramones, Blondie, The Go-Go's, Joan Jett and 60's girl groups. "They are young, full of gusto and hell-bent on cranking it up and loud and just blasting it" Songs deal with issues everyone can relate to: heartbreak, dreaming, drinking, being young and silly, and just having fun. The Sweethearts released their debut album "L.U.V" on Mortville Records in 2003, and it is currently out of print. The Sweethearts have just released their second album,"Looks Could Kill" on Mortville Records.
