Lavender Diamond is a quartet led by Becky Stark with Jeff Rosenberg on guitar, Steve Gregoropoulos on keyboard, and Ron Rege, Jr. on drums. In LA, Becky started playing country songs with Jeff, classical arias and tin pan alley tunes with Steve, and voice /drum psychedelic doo-wop/ electronic music with Ron. Lavender Diamond was born. References: The Carpenters, VU, Jack Nitzsche, Vashti Bunyan. Self-released EP "The Cavalry of Light" and split single with Devendra Banhart on Cold Sweat Records.
