Brothers and Sisters
Brothers and Sisters is a sunshine pop/country rock band from Austin, Texas. Seven record junkies who abandoned their homes in California, Hawaii, Louisiana, Tennessee and North Carolina, somehow found eachother in Texas in the summer of 2005. Since then, they’ve made a record, are working on a second music video (their first video, “One Night” already gets regular play on ME TV) and just played their second sold out show in Austin. Listening to their music is kind of like listening to The Band, Neil Young, Big Star, Willie Nelson, The Mamas and the Papas, The Millennium, The Beach Boys and The Byrds all at once, but filtered through Nashville’s mid-seventies Countrypolitan machines and cans of whiskey. Their album, produced by Will Courtney with DEADMAN’s Steven Collins, is available on Calla Lily Records.
